– R. Kiddhis place is so special to my husband and I. In October of 2014 Blake proposed to me on the porch of the barn that overlooks all of the land during sunset. The barn is hardly what people usually think of when hearing the words “horse barn”…it’s more of a beautiful show barn that you would only see in bridal magazines.
The land is a display of God’s creation…the green grass, trees, rolling hills, pond, horses grazing, nature sounds and if course the great horse barn ….it’s a taste of heaven!
I was also a bridesmaid for a wedding here this past summer. Speaking from a wedding standpoint, it was equipped nicely and practically for the perfect wedding. The ceremony was outside while the reception was held in the barn and half outside. There were strung lights that gave the night reception a fun touch.
I have also attended a baby shower at this barn. It worked perfectly for that as well! It is such a versatile place to host events.
As you can see now– this place holds a special place in my heart. The love of my life asked me to marry him there, I stood by my friend’s side as she made lifelong vows to her soul mate here and I have celebrated life and the gift of a baby here. This place is just the place you have been looking for!!!
Might I also add that the owners of Tucker’s Gap are extremely helpful, understanding, kind and want to do anything to give you exactly what you have in mind! You won’t find a place so perfect and staff so helpful like this anywhere else. Seriously– stop looking and book your event here!!!!
